Forgiveness: The Key To Happiness

 What happens when we forgive?

When we forgive, we are in-fact showing mercy to them at the same time we are not letting ourselves hold any grudge and bitterness against them. Walking in forgiveness is the hardest thing one can practice but God has given us enough strength to overcome that. When we forgive, we are giving way to bitterness and grudges to let go. When we forgive we also show love and compassion to that person. Many of us have this intention Why should we even forgive the one who has hurt us but we need to think deeper beyond our self-obsessed thoughts. We should think of the other person's point of view too.

Forgiveness releases happiness

• Having the heart of forgiveness can be your greatest strength

• If you love someone you will forgive that person as there is no love without forgiveness.

• Love brings forgiveness.

• Forgiveness brings healing to your soul

•  It Keeps you away from bitterness and anger.

What Forgiveness can do?

Forgiveness can lead you towards happiness but an unforgiving heart will lead you towards anger and then can lead you to any unwanted extend. When someone hurts you then it becomes very hard to forgive that person. It is easy to talk about forgiveness but very hard to apply it in our daily life. On this earth, there would be no one who hasn't got hurt. Everyone goes through that phase but there are very few amongst those multitudes who can forgive.

It is very easy to hurt back someone who has hurt you but very hard to forgive someone. When we hold our past, we don’t give way to let it go and that leads us to unforgiveness. While forgiving someone who has hurt you, do always remember one thing that is what has happened has happened. We can not change that thing but we can definitely change our future by forgiving that person.

God wants us to walk in forgiveness

God wants us to have the heart of forgiveness because we are also sinners and God has forgiven us and is still forgiving every now and then. How could God forgive us? Because he loves us so much. His love is unconditional and he expects the same thing from us. We should love each other as God loves us. Love covers everything. Love is the greatest in all. If you are filled with God's love, you will forgive others and this is the greatest thing. In order to leave a happy life forget and forgive as God forgives us. See people as God sees you. What you sow you will reap so if you are sowing happiness you will reap happiness.
